First ran into a Jedi, then some Storm Troopers, cause honestly, if you find a Jedi there is going to be one or two Storm Troopers around somewhere. Found a stand selling beanies with ears and the nice Japanese girl selling asked me "Where's L and Light?" The fact she knew I was Misa comforted me, plus I took to carrying my Death Note in my arms, which probably helped with the amount of people who recognized me.
Found an Organization dressed Riku next. Still wasn't confident in my character. Shy and out of my comfort zone, no one around I knew, even though I did have a friend who was volunteering at the event I couldn't find her.
Left the floor to go upstairs and see what was above. Turns out it was where the screenings and Q+As were being held. Didn't get in to Robot Chicken cause I didn't want to stand for 2 hours. Went back downstairs to see a Sora with keyblade at least 4 yards ahead of me. Followed him and his friend Jack Sparrow eagerly back onto the floor before I grabbed him for a picture. He held my Death Note and I held his keyblade. Very heavy, I'll stick to my day job.
My confidence slowly started to rise when I ran into a Slave Leia. I got a picture with her, then more and more people surrounded me, her and her friend and took all of our pictures. At least 10 different cameras. I felt flattered, my confidence in my outfit now much higher.
More Star Wars......
Found a Deadpool and a Robin. I love Deadpool and Robin is cool so I got a picture with them. Who would of guessed later that night I'd be eating dinner with them across the street and kissing Deadpool in the parking structure. Best night ever btw.
One of my many highlights to this day was the one and only Joker. I had just walked out of the ladies room when I saw this...devilishly handsome man in purple from afar. So I grabbed my camera and skipped towards him, sweetly asking for a picture. Being courteous he obliged. His friend Superman took our picture, but the thing with Joker is, he's unpredictable. I thought we'd just take a normal picture like one I had taken with many different people early in the day.
Oh no
Joker grabbed me around the waist, pulled me up against him and with a fake knife to my jaw spoke softly, "I had a wife, and she was beautiful. Like you." After this I thought that was the end of it. We were done. No way. He picked me up in his arms, my scream could probably be heard at the end of the hall. 3 attempts at pictures later and my purple Joker's arms are starting to shake. We finish and I get a picture with Superman, his cape thrown around me like I'm Lois Lane.
It's my clown prince of crime who made my confidence and day go from a 4 to a 7.5.
Then my camera dies.......lovely.
Now these are all the stories behind the pictures that were taken. What wasn't captured on camera was me meeting Miss November 2008 Playboy Playmate Tiffany Taylor. Meeting the 2 goth winners of The Amazing Race and going to a screening of the new Brian Singer produced movie Trick r Treat. Which you need to see before Halloween or be at risk of being gutted by a killer pumpkin child with a deadly sharp lollipop or too sexy to be real werewolves.
Always check your candy kids.
On my way to wait in line for this screening I ran into Joker, Superman and my Robin and Deadpool buddies. I wanted to show my appreciation for Joker and what he did for me so I placed a kiss on his cheek and thanked him. For the rest of the day I walked around with white make up on my lips. I didn't mind, showed I had the guts to kiss the Joker and walk away alive.
Was recognized numerous times as Misa throughout the day, much to my delight. Different guys I would walk by and smile at would say how beautiful I looked and how my lacey outfit was pretty. It felt like every man I looked at and smiled for would soften under my gaze, but that's the ego talking. Got lots of nice things. A free Saw 6 t-shirt, poster and promotional 'blood' from Daybreakers, which was actually just candy I'm afraid to open by the numerous ''hot'' adjectives used.
The day finally ended like I said before. 3 new friends. Robin, Deadpool and their friend not in costume. A stomach full of fries and soda, 2 nervous, innocent kisses and a hug that screamed 'I don't want this to end.'

The next con me and my new friends plan to go to is the Anaheim Comic Con in April. I'll be going as Tinkerbell, confidence radiating out of every pore with my friends by my side.
In conclusion
Cons rock.
